Hi there! I’m Minaa — a self-taught cake artist, and the owner and founder of Whisk & Suiker based in IJmuiden, Noord-Holland.

I started Whisk & Suiker in 2024 to channel a lifelong love for baking, first sparked as a child watching my mother make simple butter cakes for our afternoon tea. That little tradition became the torch that ignited my passion for baking.

Whisk & Suiker is a one-woman, home-based bakery (just me!) creating floral, elegant, romantic and vintage-style cakes and cupcakes. Every piece is handcrafted to order, never mass-produced, and designed closely with you from the first idea to your special day.

Of course, it’s not all about the aesthetic because we all know the taste matters most. That’s why I bake with high-quality ingredients and carefully curate unique flavours, so your cakes and cupcakes are as deliciously memorable as they are beautiful for your special moments.
